‘‘American Power Act’’ 987 pages
This is the latest attempt of the far left congressmen, Senators Kerry and company to raise taxes on all energy. President Obama said that his plan, which this fits nicely into, would raise power costs astronomically. The new title of the bill is required because Cap & Trade didn't work and Climate Bill didn't work.
So far I have not had time to get through the 987 pages but from the beginning it appears that all the worst elements of the Cap & Trade(TAX) bill are in there. If we do not stop it the price of everything will skyrocket and taxes will go up along with the prices.
It is time to really speak out loud an clear that our debt is already large enough and our taxes are already high enough and our national debt (currently at $13 billion and rising) and our unemployment at 9.9% and rising and government take over of almost everything have already done enough damage to ou country, economy, income and health care. When I have read the new bill I will post as detailed an analysis as I can make and update it regularly.
